Hot Dog Eating Contest Rules
Time Limit: Contestants will have 3 minutes to eat as many hot dogs as they can—up to 10 hot dogs, provided at the start of the contest.
What Counts: A hot dog only counts when both the sausage and bun are completely eaten. Contestants may eat in any order or style—just make sure the whole dog is gone before moving to the next.
Drinks: Each contestant will receive a pitcher of water. You may also use your own beer if preferred. Dipping buns in liquid is allowed.
Conduct: Contestants must remain in their designated area throughout the contest. Hands only—no utensils, tools, or help from others. If time expires with food in your mouth, you’ll have 30 seconds to swallow for it to count.
Disqualification: Any vomiting (aka “reversal of fortune”) will result in immediate disqualification. Any hot dog not fully swallowed within the allowed…
